Company Background

Structural Solutions was born in 2010 when a group of 32 former University of South Australia students gathered for a friendly reunion. Unfulfilled in their current positions, they bravely chose to leave their jobs, put their faith in each other and form a brand new company. The benefits of working for a privately owned company strongly appealed to the team as they had all experienced the external pressures exerted by shareholders to increase quarterly income at the expense of work quality and the long term well-being of the company.​

 

Structural Solutions has quadrupled in size as well as the complexity and size of projects undertaken increasing rapidly. While initially the company was focused primarily on structural engineering, they have quickly gained experience and are now a strong competitor in other fields including geotechnical engineering, water engineering, transport engineering, urban planning and design, and environmental management. This enables them to undertake exceptionally large projects as the primary contractor and to focus on finding innovative solutions to the challenges that arise during the execution of projects of this size.
